According to the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, during the first three quarters of 2025, market regulation authorities organized specialized campaigns including intellectual property enforcement actions. These efforts further strengthened governance in key sectors, over critical commodities, and in major markets. By actively leveraging the deterrent effect of administrative law enforcement, authorities effectively protected the legitimate rights and interests of rights holders and consumers, maintained market order, and fostered a favorable business environment. During this period, these campaigns resulted in the investigation and handling of nearly 390,000 cases, including 27,000 cases involving trademark infringement and counterfeit patents. Enforcement actions were carried out against approximately 54,000 key entities known for high incidence of infringement and counterfeiting.
