A delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs visited the United States to promote deeper economic and trade cooperation between the two countries
At the invitation of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Oakland from the 2nd to the 6th, with the aim of promoting deeper economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States.
During the visit, CCPIT co-hosted multiple China–U.S. business matchmaking and engagement events in cooperation with the City of Oakland, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S.–China Business Council, the Semiconductor Industry Association, AmCham Asia, the Meridian International Center, and the U.S. Soybean Export Council, among others. The delegation held discussions and exchanges with more than 170 U.S. companies and institutions.
Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, actively briefed representatives from various U.S. sectors on China’s latest measures to advance high-quality development and high-standard opening-up, promoted the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), and emphasized that CCPIT will continue to support the business communities of both countries in taking more proactive steps to deepen exchanges and cooperation, thereby making greater contributions to the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China–U.S. relations.
U.S. business leaders widely agreed that the visit significantly advanced bilateral business exchanges and cooperation. They also expressed their commitment to further deepening their presence in the Chinese market, expanding investment, and strengthening China–U.S. industrial and supply chain collaboration.
